We would like to give our deepest thanks to our
all supporter organizations including the Whale and Dolphin Conservation
Society (WDCS), the Rufford Maurice Laing Foundation, the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS),
and the Audrey and John Sacher trusts in the UK who have helped
us every year. We are grateful to the Kluh Foundation for the
2000 Kluh Prize for Innovation in Science and our supporters
for 2002, Cetacean Society International (CSI), Animal Welfare
Institute, and Project Thursday's Child. A special thanks is due
to the Alaska Sea Life Center which sponsored the wide-area surveys in 2002-2005 along the eastern Kamchatka coast which are responsible for many
new photo-IDs, recordings and other whale sightings.
Thanks are also due to many individuals but we would especially
like to mention Alison Wood, Vanessa Williams, Cathy Williamson
and Berry Goddard at Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society head
office in the UK, Niki Entrup at WDCS Germany, Naomi Rose at HSUS. We are also grateful to
many people from Sevvostrybvod and Kamchatka Branch of Pacific Institute of Geography. Thanks to John Pachkovsky and Ivan Seredkin for the heater in 2005. And, of cource, thanks to all of our colleagues who worked a lot to get to know more about
orcas and their conservation in Far Eastern Russia.
